Easter. Part 2.

On with the Easter story.. so maybe it will be finished this week.

So, the bunny came to visit... He brought pre-made Walmart baskets that were opened and had things added in them. I think this may be the first year ever for baskets. Usually, he just brings a gift such as a CD player, specific barbie doll, motorized car... you get the picture.
How about that backwards nightgown?
7 am on Sunday morning. What a happy face.

This kid was thrilled.

The bunny also brought puppets. Those were fun.
Daddy scoping out the eggs for snickers bars.
This was at the party that we should have
dressed for, but didn't. This was a thug picture.

Wait! I am missing a kid! Where is Eli, you ask?
Why, he is in bed, asleep! The "bunny" stopped at Walmart the night before and got Eli a video game. At first, he just asked for money. But then he changed his mind.

And, the bunny was happy to oblige. :)

  1. Yea, your kids made out WAY better!!! We just didn't do anything "big" this year since my sister wasn't around to insist :) In fact, Nana bought each of the kiddos something swimwear-related and Stephen looked at his and said "I don't like pirates" and gave it right back! She asked if she should exchange it for something else and I said "no, he doesn't like this, forget it". Robert was disappointed that now they don't have matching swim shirts but if Stephen doesn't care, save your money!!! I asked for "not much candy" since we had a 6-hr drive home after dinner. . .so my stepmom obliged with 100 coin-filled eggs!!! They all ended up with between $4-$9 each in dimes and quarters (and a few dollar bills)!!! Not too bad. . .I did stop and see the Easter Bunny on Saturday at a specialty chocolate shop in Centerville and so each kid did each get a solid chocolate bunny. . .of the GOOD stuff. . .see, I'm not *all* bad. . .and Robert won the coloring contest at Cash Express in Livingston so there was a full Easter Basket waiting for him yesterday. . .they are not deprived. . .just "restricted". . .do you *really* want to see R on an unrestricted diet???? Go to Cedar Lake the week of July 5th and check it out yourself. . .
