What do I have to say?

Wow! I can't believe that I am having trouble coming up with something to blog about. I open the blog several times throughout the week.... I start to write then I X it out! Maybe I feel like I don't have anything important to share. Some things - well, lots of things, I can't share. I feel like I should not expose all that is going on.

I have toyed with making this a password only blog. That way, I can write about our lives and what is really happening. But there again, I feel like I would be infringing on others privacy.

So, let's see... What can I tell?

I turned 35 last Saturday. It made me sad. I am on the downhill slide to 40. Wow.

Tripper is turning 5 this Saturday. It will be my official last day of intersession and Saturday School. We have no birthday party planned. We ran out of time. He and Emma are going with the Grandma to the beach on Sunday morning... so what we are going to have is a family party - kind of a "welcome" for the new kids, a birthday/summer deal at the swimming pool in a few weeks, where we will invite the entire group of people we love best to come hang out.

Sucks, I know. But, Tripper does get to go to the beach.

What will I do with out the little kids here? I will still have three kids at home with me. Easier or harder? I will let you know.

My summer semester starts tomorrow. I have had five days off. Have I done anything? Not really. I still had to work and I did not get any house stuff done. I sat at the pool with the kids.

And I washed ALOT of towels. :)

Happy August!

Its August 1st!!!

You know what that means? My electric bill is due. Nah, it means the kids go back to school!!! I made it thru a summer. Woo Hoo!

School registration is next week. I can't wait. It means I get to get back in a routine. And not feel guilty for working while my kids are at home.

I have a final on monday... then I am outta school till August 29th. Then, I start my 16 hour semester. Maybe I can graduate college sometime in the next few years.

middle of a vacation.

We have been at home this week... vacation time! I am absolutely having a blast with the kids. Today was day three of hanging out by the pool with the kids. So far, in the past three days, I have logged in 10 hours at the pool.

This is what happens when little boys go to timeout under trees after they skip naps.

My kids look like little brown biscuits. That is what I have been calling them. They are so toasty, and sweet. I wish I could take pictures of tan lines - but I would get in trouble.

Tomorrow, we are off to the houseboat for some family time. We are going to stay for a few days. The kids are super excited. We have done such a bad job of taking them to the lake. We had them down a couple of weeks ago and Emma saw a jet ski.... she said, so excitedly, "Look! A water motorcycle!"

It is gonna hurt when I have to go back to work next week. I am NOT looking forward to it. I like my productivity in the office. But, boy, do I miss my babies.
