Overheard conversation between Emma and Tripp while they were playing Rabids on the Wii....
Emma: Try your best. Believe in yourself. Put your mind into it. You can do anything you put your mind to.
Tripp: I can't do it like you. You put your mind to everything.
Tripp still loses. Emma wins.
The next game starts -
Tripp: I am putting my mind to this game.
Emma: Believe in your heart. Believe.

Updates.
Today, Dave and I are leaving aound 1 p.m. to go to the UT game in Knoxville. I am excited to get some alone time.
I think I will do a confession this morning, it will help me feel better for the game if I purge all my crazy thoughts in my head.
Here goes....
1. I have lots of homework to do. Lots.
2. I made a 61 on a test. For the first time. In Geology.
3. Mallie fell asleep on the couch last night. And I left her there.
4. There is someone that I don't like at all, and when I look at them, all I think is - you are a big. fat. liar.
5. I am getting kinda excited about Christmas this year. I am ready to start shopping. Except that my kids don't need anything.

Confession Friday.
Had the day off today to go with my sweet girls on a field trip - due to RAIN (who woulda ever thought it rained here?) the trip was cancelled. So I came to work.
I know I have been slacking off on my blog. I am just so.dadgum.busy.
1. My house is a wreck. Not a DHS involvement issued wreck, but pretty messy. Clean laundry in piles. A few dirty dishes. But I need to dust. LOTS.
2. I am counting down the days until Dave and I are alone. With no kids. In November. In the Opryland Hotel. For three (3) days.
3. I have lots of homework. Lots.
4. I am getting used to going to bed by myself. Dave is gone alot of nights working at the store. It was hard at first. My feet were cold. I got a blankie, and put on socks. Now I am better.
5. When my kids go to bed at night, I am thankful that they are sleeping. After several drinks of water, a few extra trips to pee, and tripp saying, "you haven't fed me alllll dayyyy!" I am so very excited when the house is quiet.
6. We moved last February. I never got to pack/unpack my summer clothes. Then I never packed/unpacked my winter clothes. They are all still laying there. Where I left them in February.
7. Eli is playing in his championship ball game tomorrow night at 7 p.m. I don't like people talking to me during his game. Not little kids, not big people, noone. I can't concentrate on his kicking.
So I think I offended my sister when I told her that she could go with me if she would shut up. (Sorry, Lissa. No harm meant. Nothing personal)
I took Mallie for her flu shot at the doctors office this morning. The girl threw a fit on me that you wouldn't believe. She laid down in the floor. I had to pin her legs down with my jumbo calf and hold her arms down. She still got loose. Finally, we got to stick her. She will be mad at me forever. She squealed and screamed.
Now I am exhausted.

Confession Tuesday.
Drumroll, please.........
1. I am happy school is back in session. Tomorrow, everyone will be in school. I will be responsible for getting four kids to school and be at work by 7:30 a.m Five.days.a. week.
2. Some days, I feel so happy. Some days, I feel overwhelmed. I am terrified that every move I make is ruining my children's lives. Work. School. Can I do it all?
3. I miss having a mother. I am jealous of those who have mother's that help them.
4. I am sick of saying #3.
5. I wish my kids would be ages 1 and ages 3 again. or 0 and 2. or newborn.
6. I miss being at the Y in the mornings and working out. But, I don't miss the mommy drama.
7. I like my quiet time at work.
8. I need to go grocery shopping. We are almost out of red juice.
9. I miss spending time with Dave and not having stress in my head.
10. I am mad at the economy. But thankful for lack of car payments. Even though I want a new(er) van. I am scared that I am going to start these classes at Tech, my van is going to tear up, and I will have no way to get to class.

Random thoughts and happenings.
Today is Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
I have a stoppy nose and I am tired. I was sick all day Sunday and I took FOUR naps. I was so happy to stay in jammies all day that I wasn't really that miserable with being sick.
I would like to have a day where I could sleep all day without being sick and running a fever.
Wait, I am turning this into confession Tuesday.
Confession One and Two are above. Too lazy to edit and put the numbers in.
I will start with #3.
3. I am majorly stressed out about school and the amount of hours I am registered for. I started out with a decision to take full time and ended up with NINETEEN *19*
How the he** does a mom take 19 hours. If I used sentence enhancers, I would be using plenty right now. They are in my head. Would someone please email me or call me and go over the pro's and con's of what I just did?!?
4. I am feeling neglectful once again. I came home from work and all I heard is how they fought all day.
5. I am glad that Tripp is givin' up the naps cause he goes to sleep about 7:30 p.m.
6. I am thankful Eli is at the fair working cause I just have Emma roaming around the house.
7. I was looking forward to a quiet week.
8. I would love a date with my spouse.
9. I want to go to Splashcountry.
10. I saw my mother at the fair last night. My kids did not know who she was. That makes me sad. I think she looked sad cause they didn't speak to her. She was probably faking. But it still hurts my feelings.
11. Emma just knocked Dave's hat in the toilet "on accident." I told her it was OK, just set it up and let it dry, and he would have toilet water on his head tomorrow. She laughed. I laughed. I bet Dave is not laughing right now.
12. All of the above is true. Except at the end, I told her to throw it in the hamper and I would wash it. Got ya, Big Daddy :)

Funny. So. Funny.
So, last year, I discovered this lady who writes a blog... and I love her writing.
She is seriously amusing.
And today, she wrote Thursday Confessions on a Monday. Seriously, I want her to be my friend.
But I am not Mormon. Does that matter?
I crack up everytime I read her blog.
To my sister Melissa, you should check her out.
I could do a confession every day. Maybe I will.
I am going to be a copycat and do my own Monday Confession.
1. I am sick and tired of being at work. I am dying for a vacation. And a clean house.
3. I am sick and tired of all the whining crybabies in my life. Including myself. Being one myself, it just makes others harder to take. There is no more room for whiners. Just me.
4. I was accosted this past week and it is my own fault. I tried to save 19 cents a lemon. And I was attacked for it.
5. I believe that if people in your life cause you mental issues, you can cut them out. I may be wrong. But it makes life easier.
6. I am living a never ending, full blown battle with dirty clothes in the house. Seriously, I am thankful for summertime and the lack of socks that I have to wash and fold. But soggy towels and washcloths seem to be everywhere in the house. They multiply like rabbits.
7. I hadn't done dishes in several days. I realised it yesterday when I stuck my hand in the bottom of my kitchen sick. There was a slimy dish towel. And slimy water. Yuck. So, I came home from work and proceeded to bleach the kitchen. Now I am happy.
8. I have had recent injury to one of my eyebrows. My last eyebrow waxing left me with a missing portion of my left middle brow. Now, I am spending time waiting for it to grow back. As punishment, the other parts of my eyebrows are now conjoined and I am becoming Uni-brow (but with one missing section).

****Update**** I am scheduled for time off of work the week of June 26th)
Horray for me!
2. I want to drop my class this semester. I am overwhelmed. I need a break. And I hate Math. Now I hate Geometry.3. I am sick and tired of all the whining crybabies in my life. Including myself. Being one myself, it just makes others harder to take. There is no more room for whiners. Just me.
