Harshing the Mello. (or maybe Mellow)

Eli came to Emma's school to read to Grades K to 4 yesterday. Both Dave and myself were there also, as we were asked to read some super Dr. Suess for Read Across America day.

As Eli was walking down the hall with his class, I joined him. Most of the 7th graders said hi. I have known these kids since kindergarden. Eli told me to go on - I was "harshing his mellow."


I still got some good pictures.

    Harshing his mellow?? Oh boy the things I have to look forward to...what does that even mean? lol.

    I have no idea where this came from... I had to ask him to repeat it several times. I feel so old. I took it as cramping his style (maybe?)

    Harshing His Mellow? I think I like it though! Do you think it will freak him out at Easter if I am saying this?
