I came home this afternoon and started my weekend off right by cleaning house. While I was vacuuming, I asked Emma to go upstairs and line up her shoes in her closet. I told her that was her chore. I then reminded her that today is Friday, and that is allowance day. And to get allowance, she has to do some chores.
She looks at me and says," Turn the vacuum off." I do
Then she sits down on the steps and says, "In the bible it says husbands help wives to clean their house to make a help meet."
Gotta love the lesson that Mrs. Barbara is giving my daughter.
